The number of people who lost their lives in the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria is continuously increasing. According to the information, so far more than 19 thousand people have lost their lives. At the same time, the number of injured is also being said to be more than 80 thousand. A large number of people are trapped under the debris. India has launched ‘Operation Dost’ to help earthquake affected people in Turkey.
Under which the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team is engaged in rescue operations there to help the people trapped in the debris from India. Meanwhile, the Home Minister shared a video on Twitter, in which the NDRF team is pulling out a girl trapped in the debris. He wrote, we are proud of NDRF. In a rescue operation in Turkey, Team IND-11 saved the life of a six-year-old girl, Beren, in the town of Ganjayatop.
