Rohan Bopanna Ends His Davis Cup Career: Veteran Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna today bid farewell to his 21-year-long Davis Cup career with a win. 43-year-old Rohan, in this edition of Davis Cup, won the men’s doubles match against Morocco along with Yuki Bhambri by defeating him in straight sets and also retired from his career in Davis Cup.
Rohan Bopanna played a total of 23 matches in his career in Davis Cup. During this period, 43-year-old Bopanna won 23 matches, including 13 doubles matches. In this match against Morocco, Bopanna along with Yuki Bhambri won the match by defeating them 6-2 and 6-1.
During this match of David Cup, a brilliant performance of the Indian men’s pair was seen. In this match, the Moroccan team could not succeed in saving its serve even once. After the victory, an emotional Bopanna expressed his happiness by holding the tricolor in his hand. During this time, many spectators were also present in the stadium.
Bopanna’s family members had also come to watch the match.
