RBI MPC Meeting RBI Governor main status quo on Repo Rate and no change in Loan Rates

RBI MPC Meeting: While announcing the first monetary policy of the year 2024, Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das has not made any change in the repo rate. RBI has not reduced the repo rate as per the decisions of its monetary policy review, thus the repo rate remains at 6.50 percent.

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das has announced this in his address after the credit policy of the bank. This means that at present there is no possibility of getting relief in your loan EMI. This Monetary Policy Committee meeting started from February 6 and ended today.

The last meeting was held on 8 December 2023

The last time the three-day monetary policy of RBI was released was on December 8, 2023. In this, Central Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das had said that the Central Bank has maintained the ‘status quo’ i.e. ‘status quo’.
