Pakistan Election Updates: Counting of votes is going on continuously since the voting took place on February 8 in Pakistan. The results of the National Assembly and Provincial Assembly have not been declared yet. There is a huge uproar in Pakistan regarding the delay in election results. Many parties including PTI have also alleged rigging in the elections.

The government had to take internet and mobile shutdown amid sporadic political violence during voting and a deadly terrorist attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 17,816 independent and party-affiliated candidates contested a total of 855 seats, including 265 National Assembly, 296 Punjab Assembly, 130 Sindh Assembly, 113 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 51 Balochistan seats.

Talking about the statistics of Pakistan elections, according to Geo News, till now in the National Assembly elections, PTI has got maximum 97 seats, PML-N has got 72 seats and PPP has got 53 seats. Independent candidates or other small parties are leading on the remaining 42 seats.

In the Pakistan Assembly elections, Imran Khan’s party PTI is seen getting 116 seats in Punjab, 11 in Sindh, 0 in Balochistan and 83 seats in KP.

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is seen getting 10 seats in Punjab, 84 in Sindh, 11 in Balochistan and 04 in KP.

Pakistan Muslim League-N is seen getting 137 seats in Punjab, 0 in Sindh, 10 in Balochistan and 05 in KP. Other small parties and independent candidates are leading on the remaining seats.
