There is news of firing on crowded Miami Beach in Florida, USA. According to media reports, on the occasion of spring break (the beginning of spring and the holiday for universities and schools on Easter), shots were fired in the crowd of people, in which one person was killed, another was injured.
Miami Beach Police tweeted that two people were shot Friday night. A suspect has been taken into custody following the shooting incident. However, it is not clear whether the apprehended suspect is the shooter. The police also said that three guns were recovered from the spot.
Following the incident, vehicular movement was restricted in the area as hundreds of people gathered to celebrate spring break. Police said one of the victims died in hospital and the other person is in critical condition. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
