Scored two centuries in the first test against Africa
Williamson scored two centuries in the first Test played against South Africa at Mount Maunganui. In the first innings of the match, he scored 118 runs with the help of 16 fours and in the second innings he scored 109 runs with the help of 12 fours and 1 six. With these two centuries he completed 31 centuries in Tests. Williamson became the first cricketer for New Zealand to score 31 centuries in Test cricket.

Williamson has played 97 Tests, 165 ODIs and 89 T20 International matches so far in his career. In 170 innings of Test, he has scored 8490 runs at an average of 55.13, in 157 innings of ODI he has scored 6811 runs at an average of 48.3 and in 87 innings of T20 International, he has scored 2547 runs at an average of 33.51 and strike rate of 123.52.
