IND Vs SL Asia Cup Final Indian Team Skipper Rohit Sharma Handed The Asia Cup Trophy To Throwdown Specialist Raghu Raghavendraa And He Joins Celebration

India vs Sri Lanka, Asia Cup Final: Team India was successful in winning the title for the eighth time by defeating Sri Lanka in the final match of Asia Cup 2023. Indian team’s one-sided performance was seen in this match and it ended quite quickly. Captain Rohit Sharma also won everyone’s hearts with his single step after this brilliant performance of the team. After holding the Asia Cup trophy, Rohit handed it over to throw down specialist Raghu alias Raghavendra, part of the team’s support staff, during the celebration.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma called Raghu on the stage with a gesture during the celebration with the trophy. After this he handed over the trophy to Raghu and along with all the players he also celebrated this title win. Raghu is one of those members of the support staff who is often seen doing his work behind the scenes.

Raghu is a very important member of Team India’s support staff.

Talking about Raghavendra alias Raghu, he is a throw down specialist who used to throw the ball at high speed during net practice so that the batsman could prepare himself against the fast bowlers. Raghu entered the support staff of Team India during the Australian tour in 2011-12. After this, he was again included in the support staff for the England tour in 2014 and till now he has remained a part of the team.

The credit for including Raghu in the support staff of Team India goes to Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. When Raghu was in the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, he made Sachin and Dravid practice. After this, due to the recommendation of these two, it was decided to make Raghu a part of the support staff.
