Ravichandran Ashwin Performance: When the Indian team was announced on September 18 for the 3-match ODI series against Australia, Ravichandran Ashwin’s name was also included in the team. In this match, he scored only 12 runs in 17 balls with the bat. However, Ashwin proved to be very economical in bowling. Ashwin gave only 30 runs in his 10 overs and also took 1 wicket.
Due to this brilliant performance of Ashwin, his team Mylapore Recreational won the match by defeating Young Stars team by 28 runs. Before Ashwin was selected in the ODI team, a video had also surfaced in which he was practicing bowling in the nets at the National Cricket Academy and at that time NCA Chief VVS Laxman was also present with him.
Team India can benefit from Ashwin’s experience
Facing Ravichandran Ashwin in the Test format on Indian pitches is not an easy task at all for the batting order of any team at present.
